Our class has been using a internet program called kerpoof. Kerpoof is a internet program that you can do a whole heap of stuff on. Using this program we have been making different pictures on Kerpoof and Miss Mitchell printed them out and then we wrote a story about our picture.Today our class has started writing our 2nd Kerpoof stories. We have been thinking about using figurative language in our writing. We have had a go at using figurative language in our 1st Kerpoof story. A example of figurative language is she was as quiet as a mouse.This piece of figurative language is a simile.There are different types of figurative language like Metaphors, Hyperbole's, Onomatopoeia's, Personification and Imagery's. Using figurative language made most of our stories more interesting.
